Position: Postdoctoral fellowship (2 years) within advanced polymer synthesis

The Department of Chemistry at The Faculty for Science and Technology is offering a postdoctoral scholarship within the project advanced polymer synthesis. The scholarship is full-time for two years with access from 1st of September 2023 or by agreement.

Project description:
The Department of Chemistry is offering a postdoctoral scholarship within a project that involves designing and optimizing the synthesis of new monomers, synthesizing novel polymers using various polymerization techniques, characterizing the resulting polymer structures using a range of analytical techniques, and exploring their potential applications in energy storage and filtration. The stipend holder will be a part of a collaborative research environment and contribute to the design and execution of independent research projects, while also collaborating with other members of the research team. The goal of the project is to advance our understanding of polymer synthesis and characterization and to develop new materials with enhanced properties for practical applications.
